Copy everything except terrian to a new map

Is it possible to do this? I don't want to copy everything file by file.

yes it is possible, you can export all datas in the editor and import them into another map, you can even export the terrain using programms like world editor unlimited.

to export units for example open the object editor -> file -> export all...

File - Export All Object Data
File - Export Triggers
Then in your new map:
File - Import All Object Data
File - Import Triggers
