Counter strike PRoblem Pllz help

Hi

when i want to connect to a server he says cannot connect but my firewall is out who can help me out?
 
I seem to have a similar problem. I go into counter strike, click net games, and it cant' seem to get any server information, even though my t1 hookup is working. Can you tell me how to make sure my ports are open? I am not sure how to do this, any help is greatly appreciated
 
Depends what type of firewall you have.

For hardware firewall (router... etc) you need to go into PORT FORWARDING under the router settings and allow those two ports to access the internet.

For software firewall (zonealarm... etc) you just type in the program and the port it needs, i think, i haven't messed with software firewalls in a long time.


If that doesn't help, make sure you don't have too many filters on your counter strike, if none of this works you may have to try reinstalling your HL and CS.

Remember to always update your HL to 1.0.0.5 then upgrade to CS 1.1.1.5

    Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots

    The first gate is stopping all the bots that don't execute javascript.

    That's the main thing with Anubis - no Javascript, no site. Typically you can still get the site to load without Javascript.
