creating cold-arrow type skill

ok, i tried making a cold arrow skill but i want its projectile speed to be slower then the unit's regular projectile speed but i can't because it would only increase from the regular projectile speed of the unit and it can't decrease can anyone help

you have to set it to allow negative values somewhere, i cant remember where.

It's in the editor's main menu, under File / Preferences


There's also the somewhat easy "Shift + double-click".

Now, what a negative missile speed is supposed to do... ? Fly backwards?

actually i want the missile to move super slow like homing ammo

but i want the regular attack to go super fast so it only shows the missile art only on the person that hes shooting at.

and i did click allow negative interagers and the "-" still can't be in it i tried copying and pasting it too and when i click enter it just gets set back to 0 and i also tried starting at 0 and pressing the down arrow but it just stays at 0

i dont want it to go backwards its just this is the equation it works on i think...

can someone test this and see if it does the same for other epople please

regular missile art speed = X
the missile speed of the skilll i want=Y
what it becomes=Z

X+Y=Z

Like I said, hold "shift", than double-click the "speed" field.
Remember to do it every time though you want to change it.

Still, there are no negative missile speeds in the game as is,
and, if the editor puts up some resistance, there's probably a reason...

Actually, I was under the impression that stuff like searing, cold or black arrows
simply fly at the same speed than your Hero's attack?
