CS sound problem

pentium III
933 mhz computer
448 MB ram
Windows 98
tnt 2 32mb piece of junk graphics card
Soundblaster Audio PC128 Playback.

I hate that sound card^

anything else?
 
that soundcard can indeed have problems .
try getting the latest drivers and correct drivers .
the problem canbe that your using the wrong drivers .
the SB 128 comes in many flavors so to speak .
why creative made 4 soundcards and called them all SB128 is beyond me . i do know that the onboard sb 128 driver totally differes from the pci version and so do their drivers
 
Wargies correct--sb cards are buggy--make sure to get the correct and latest drivers. Also look in the device manager and see if there is a listing for SB16 Emulator. If so try disabling it in the properties, sometimes it can cause probelms.
This is used mostly for old 16 bit games.

finding updated drivers rocks. Hopefully I will be able to download this and everything will run better again.

The sound works until I die. or after 1 round i think. this is starting to bug me frealz...=[=[=[=[=[=[=[=[:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:
 
yeap, it's still a problem, sadly.


Once, I got the sound to last me 6 rounds. But then it died.

I tried disabling EAX, then the A3D, then all the high quality sound all together...all to no effect.
 
try threatening your computer with a good urinating and see if it bucks it's ideas up
 
haha I heard I have to reformat, but I can't afford to do that. I ahve too much stuff to save =\

    Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots

    The first gate is stopping all the bots that don't execute javascript.

    That's the main thing with Anubis - no Javascript, no site. Typically you can still get the site to load without Javascript.
