Custom Heros

How do i make custom heros? ive managed to give a peasent abilities, and a inventory (Hero) but when i test it the peasent has no mana (i set it to have some) and already has the abilities learnt, i want them to learn them hero style (When you click the red +) :banghead:

Just base it on a hero unit, it's the only way. You can't convert a normal unit into a hero one.

in the obj. editor, go to manna capacity (in the stats section) and change it. also, you might want to give him a manna recharge rate. or, if you want it to be a hero, take an existing hero, and change the modle file.

That wont change the actual statistics of the unit, it wont have attributes etc only the hero glow (for most hero models) along with the hero itself but those are together anyways

Heh, you can read pyromancer's post in two ways:

1. As Rad did, change the model to a hero model (like take an existing hero model)
2. Base it on a hero unit (like take an existing hero unit, and change the model of that hero unit)
