Custom Unit, Standard Abilities

I have a custom unit, but i was wondering if the custom unit would use standard abilities on its own (chens breath of fire, tichondrias inferno, Immolation, and lava spawn. with no changes to the spells) if the unit does not, how do i make it so it does?

It seems only in certain cases they will automatically use their spells.

Let me remind you, they won't learn skills on their own but they will use them in certain cases if you give them the skill at a certain level.

Try putting your heroes on the map, double clicking them, and spreading some of the skill points out. If they don't cast them, then make a trigger loosely based off this:

Events
Unit - A unit is attacked
Conditions
Actions
Unit - Order (Attacked unit) to cast Shadow Strike on (Attacking unit)

This isn't what you would exactly use, but osmething to that extent.

Computerized you mean? It's quite random in that case. Near death my computer enemy in my Halo game used Overshield (when it was an ability, it was a mana shield) and stayed alive until I picked up the Rocket Launcher

If controlled by player, of course it #_%&#@%in does, just add it to the Hero (to level up) or Normal (to have a no level).
