D2 LOD will not give me an installation option!

was running fine under win 95 - since scrubbed C drive & installed win 98 SE (D2 on F drive) was prompted to install d2 when i tried to run the game - I did - LOD will only give me play game option which of course won't work. So i uninstalled d2 & reinstalled... same thing. I can play d2 but not LOD.. IT WON"'T LET ME INSTALL IT!!!
any ideas out there???
 
I fixed the problem - heres how
upon installing a new operating system I did not have an uninstall option available (d2 & LOD don't have an uninstall.exe in their folder) after uninstalling d2 for the 2nd time after 2 reinstalles i noticed files stile in the folder. i had to manually remove all the files, then do a complete reinstall.
it was a pain because the the time it takes to install these. Thank God I don't have an 8 speed CD!
Info for the next person that ens up in this perdicament.

    Wow - the change in the stats are major. I kind of knew it was all bots but wow, to see the effect. Why the social media sites cant do something like this I have no idea.

    Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots

    The first gate is stopping all the bots that don't execute javascript.

    That's the main thing with Anubis - no Javascript, no site. Typically you can still get the site to load without Javascript.
