Daiblo II joining problem

i can't join a game created by my friend, it keeps saying game doesn't exist, and when i try to make a game with the same name it says that it already exists!!! we both have dII expansion and have played with each other before. What is wrong and how do i get to play with him again.!?

no, i don't use hacks and i don't think he doesn't either. I can join other games and so can he, we just can't join each other's games.

No, you cant get your password back if you forgot it. I think the liscence agreement says that somewhere. Are you talking about account passwords?

Blizzard has changed their policy and they will help you recover passwords now.

As for the original post in this thread (only being able to join passworded games)-- this because the server thought you were cheating so it is temporarily banning you. This happens if you suddenly get disconnected. It's actually only going to let you into private games, or public games with other 'cheaters'


Blizzard is aware that this happens, and there is nothing you can do. It's a server problem and it goes away after a few minutes/hours/days.
