It's been a long time since I've seen Autumn Crossing TD was played.​


Map Description

This map is made as an attempt to revive the long and lost Autumn Crossing TD. Basically, same style of gameplay. I changed all of the dumb and very not detailed tooltips. Added abilities for the towers to balance things that I've changed with the creeps. I've worked on this map for a month to be exact, and I definitely think it has potential to become a played map on the internet. I am still currently thinking of how to lengthen the game aside from increasing amount of waves and improving towers. Right now though, I still need to balance ultimate towers, but the rest are good.

1. Tower Architects [Basically I want submissions of new towers, complex or not.]
2. Mode Managers [Basically think of normal modes, and other modes that are "just for fun".
3. Balancers [Basically tell me if I can't see a unbalanced tower.]

FAQ
Question: Isn't this plagiarism?

Answers: First, I didn't take the map. I took the idea. I had take a screenshot of every portion of the autumn crossing map so I could try to make a close to perfect replica. But mine isn't so centered. Second, I am willing to withdraw this map if the original creators told me to stop.


Question: I want to send in a idea for a tower, how will I do it?

Answer: Unless you are a part of the team, I would tell you to send the idea including a test map, to me through a private message.


Question: The map is not protected can I edit it?

Answer: You can edit it, just try not to release it as your own, maybe you can change the terrain and all the towers, and all the systems, but don't say you made it. The reason I didn't protect it is because I don't believe in map protection, and I know people can learn from unprotected maps.

Can you make test maps, or even just a simple test map of what the tower is like then? If not, I'm still okay with it, but it would be suggested that you could as well. Have you tested the game as well?

Uh, a simple anti-block. Kinda like the one in Line Tower Wars.

I just had fun with that :D

So, what's the verdict?

I plan on increasing the periodic Maze Runner spawn to per 75 secs.

hmmm maybe i am very n00b, i can't seem to pass level 1 :D:D but overall is nice, but when i play solo, i have a maze runner which i can control. why?:p

    How can you tell the difference between real traffic and indexing or AI generation bots?

    The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats

    These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars

    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality

    Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
