Im creating a AoS called Dawn of Corruption

It's sorta like DotA except its from upper right (Sentinal) to lower left (Scourge)

or is it dota exept with flipped terrain + rects?

It's not finished yet and I heard somewhere that theres a high chance to quit making a map if you do terrain first =/

So far the "I'm Working on it" heroes are:

Sentinal:

-Lost Prophet - Jaina with a Valkyrie skin
-Archknight - Arthas (wielding Frostmourne)
-Earth Caller - Spiritbreaker
-Priestess of the Moon - Priestess of the Moon
-Faerie Dragon - Faerie Dragon
-Storm Mage - Storm Spirit
-Sentry - Warden

Scourge:

-Lightning Revanent - Lightning Revanent
-Frost Ranger - Dark Ranger
-Dark Champion - Arthas (Evil)
-Snap Dragon - Snap Dragon
-Crypt Assassin - Crypt Lord
-Avenger - Dreadlord
-Need more ideas =/


Hmm... for features, I need some ideas, maybe some modes DotA doesnt have?
I know vJASS and GUI, never did regular JASS lol, all thanks to Cohadar for his GUI>vJASS guide.

You need present some screenshots to grab attention. We dont like going through walls of text.

I like going through walls of text, but I also like it when an occasional picture accompanies it... like high school textbooks!

Also, I think there would be an equally high chance of quitting your map if you do everything else first, because usually you're just not motivated enough to finish it.

And mayhaps you should make it not like DotA, maybe... fun?

I agree with varine. It will be really difficult to top all the other AoS style maps in BNET that has already been in the long process of hardcore balancing and creation.

Im not trying to put you down here, but an AoS is a huge project and theres a likely chance you will push the project aside and start a new one. DotA has been remade so many times, try to make something unique--something dota does not yet have.
