How do I know if someone has defend ability activated? (In the Triggers)

no wait, i know.

you just make an ability that doesnt show (like max hp increase) with no effect, and then you add a trigger where the defend ability is activated, so add this "unseen" ability and then you have a "buff"-like state where you can check if your unit has activated defend or not.

you can give it a buff/effect which would show like an aura, or give it a classification like poisoned or plauged that also does nothing (in triggers)
