Deleting units and such

I am making a campaignand I have about 30 different maps (for the different areas) and I wan wondering if there was a way to delete units, items, abilities and such that I am not using in a particular map. I know I can delete Custom units by pressing delete but how would I delete the other guys that come with the map.

I pretty much want to make the maps as small as possible in size and make them load quick as light.

Also, so I dont make another thread, how do you make creeps drop those coins that give gold. I know how to make them drop items but I cant find the coins.

The units that come with the game don't take up any space.
Everybody has them already...


The Campaign Editor has a "Custom Data" tab, that can be used to include exports from the Object Editor.
Never tested this, but, that should mean that this import would then be usable by all maps,
without having to include it in every map...
Feel like testing it?


That's the item "Gold Coins" (under "Powerups").
It uses the ability "Chest of Gold".

Not quite true. They still take up loading times.

You might want to check out this program; it does that for you automatically.

Yes. But it's nothing compared to 50 custom Heroes with 300 custom abilities...

Very true. But it's still more efficient to load data once instead of once for built-in data then layering over the custom data.
