I made this sneak peek version to test the newly implemented systems, and it seem to work well and smoothly. Though my friends and my bro got disappointed for the too little wave part. I will be working on the waves and more recipes. Thanks for the support :)

Anyway, I've been rather busy these days. School's ending and I've just been testing my map with a friend. Found loads of bugs and just fixed them.

Demise of Atlantis 1.2 Released

It has been a long time since I have updated the map, there are little changes since I was busy doing some web design stuff. Anyway there are quite some changes to version 1.2 though I haven't tested this yet thoroughly. You may download the map at the first page.

Actually this is a beta version, I'm still working on the area where you can fight some more enemies which will lead you to victory. Though in 1.3 the waves will simply loop since I'm testing out everything. (Been having too little feedback that I can't really progress that fast) Hopefully I finish the extra area in 1.4 soon.

I would be waiting for some feedbacks, and especially suggestions (skills, items, recipes, balance issues, heroes, systems, etc.)

Finally! I have implemented some new systems. Though they are still in the basic phase. So I have this early release for 1.4 though expect some bugs, I didn't test the new systems much.

- changed Starfall blind to miss 30 percent in every level
- increased Starfall cooldown to 12 seconds
- increased range of Tidal Crush from 350 to 400
- Tidal Crush and Starfall does not create effects on spell immune units anymore

- removed HP bonus from Desperado

Radiance is OP.
How do you manage to fight in the arena and go in the dungeon when creeps are demolishing the structure thingy in the middle?
Some abilities are choppy and often cause lag spikes/FPS drops:
-the thingy that deals bonus damage from STR and knocks back
-same but slows and deals bonus damage with AGI
You have to buy hundreds of potions to use every second because enemies kill you in a blink.

Was there supposed to be a save-load/ranking code? I didn't see any.

So, let me tell you what I think :D

I tested the map and I find it quite awesome. It's like DotA's OMG mode but muchmore costumizable. Quite fun with friends. :D

I suggest to have more new "eye-candy" skills...

I just released a newer version hoping that it has fixed the bugging part inside the dungeon. About the radiance, well it won't work near end-game and besides it gives little damage, you should have seen how the Deathbringer (Battle Fury) work out on swift killing. About the abilities, well I really don't know how they get too laggy, guess it's because of the special effects, I tried to change a bit the coding I just don't know if it would fix it. But doesn't does too much lag with me. Enemies don't really kill you so easily, the main strategy is to kill them first before they do to you, from the pro players from my friends in the net it's even too easy for them that in just a blink the enemy does not exist anymore, you just have to play it more than 1 time. @ yami, well I don't play dota anymore, too busy with mapping and testing but I'll try the OMG, thanks for playing by the way.

change the link of the "download the latest version" to "(5) Excellent" in epicwar, lol, so that each time a user clicks that image, your map will be rated excellent, rofl.

Edit:
I played the map, I really like hero defense maps especially when heroes are triggered well.
Why is there DotA heroes and DotA items? Your map is growing, you need to replace them with original ones, hell because there are lots of people out there who loves DotA and would do anything to destroy other map's reputation, at least 1 hero remake per map release would be fine. Good Job with this.

Wow there was a short power failure just now. Well, it was fun testing, I'll be working on the map for the rest of the day. About the DotA adapted things, well I have not that much idea juice anymore :D so I'm kind of sticking with the dota structure, thought the pro on sticking with it is that noobs get to relate with the game easier. About the heroes, well I'm implementing special heroes for the players to play much more.

BTW about the open source, the nets slower than usual but I'll try to send it to you tomorrow.
