Detect What is being Upgraded Into

I'd like to be able to detect what upgrade is being done on a building. I seem to be having trouble with this!

Eg.
When my scout tower upgrades, I'd like to know whether it is becoming an Guard Tower or an Arcane Tower
This is so that I can get it to play certain animations / other stuff while building

However when I used the events:
Unit - A unit begins an upgrade
Unit - A unit beings construction

The conditions can only check the initial building (the scout tower)

Anyone have any ideas what I must do?

With the event Unit - A unit Begins an upgrade, for me, Unit-type of (Triggering unit) is the kind that it is upgrading into.

One sec, I'll TRIPLE CHECK

EDIT: I found the problem. Its really wierd.
Under scenario, map options. You can choose the game data set.
My map is an altered melee, so I set it to use the most recent patch.
But if you set it to that, Unit-type of (Triggering unit) refers to the unit that is being upgraded.

If anyone knows what the heck is going on let me know, because I'd prefer to keep it as recent patch if I can.
