Diablo 2 Error 22 i NEED help

Yo,
Everytime I start up D2 it tells me "Error 22" something about the DirectDraw. How do I fix it? :confused: PLZ reply soon
 
I have a ATI 3d Rage Pro turbo 2x AGp Graphics card adn yes i have downloaded Direct X 8.1
 
That's my old card. :) Still using it right now, but I will put my new one tommorow. Anyway, what operating system are you using ?
 
Odd. It should work.

Type dxdiag in the run menu. Try the test. What are the results ? Make sure DirectX Draw is enabled.
 
I tried that and everything was perfect but the sound test it said that my sound card could not buffer it. But evrything else worked thanks for the help anyways more is highly welcomed
 
yeah a few times and i also tried 2 get the Direct X patch i have eveyone out from 6.1.
 
Unistall the sound card from Device manager and reinstall. Reinstall the latest drivers and try again. Post back the results of this and we will try and help you further.
 
GOOD NEWS! it now works but I used blizzard.com to help me. It turned out that my video card was set to the losest but it is now on as high as it will go and now i can FINALLY lpay D2 thank you everyone

    this is the fix I get from that yeah this is hard to control. disabling bots is pretty much necessary as ai and other bots would push really old threads to the top. reduce weight of view count. disable guest view tracking if you really want to push active threads to the top. a bit of tinkering for a few days with the weights and other settings should get you a decent trending widget box.

    One thing I have noticed and I dont know if it is by design but like 1 out of 3 times I come to the site the Anubis screen just hangs open, if I refresh it will go away but sometimes it hangs

    Wow - the change in the stats are major. I kind of knew it was all bots but wow, to see the effect. Why the social media sites cant do something like this I have no idea.

    Probably inflates their numbers so they look better to advertisers.

    Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots
