diablo 2 patch 1.09 install to 1.10 failed

when the battlenet install my new patch 1.10 automatically,it reached 100% and told me that i got error and installation failed,the error is.......ERROR: unable to open archive 'D:\Diablo2\Diablo II\d2exp.mpq'

so how do i overcome this?,all my cds for the game is orgininal,so nnow i cant access battle net and it gets very frustrating for me

Try downloading the patch manually from here, instead of doing it over battle.net: http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=adt0387p

wrong path

it doesnt work because the file path is incorrect...

e.g

instead of it being C:\games\diablo
it searces for C:games\diablo

because it does an autosearch and doesnt give the option of typing in the path manually, you cant do the update by just opening battle.net
