My CD rom is too fast to run it so how can i slow it down

Why do you think your CD Rom is too fast for Diablo 2? More than likely that is not the case - the game should work regardless of how fast your CD Rom is. Please post the error messages or the details of what your problem is so we can help you further.

diablo 2 installing problems

I recently just started playing diablo 2. When i installed the game,it was alright.when it finished and told me to put in the play disc, i did but there would be a read error and the blizzard logo would pop up. the game wont start and keeps telling me to retry and i did but was a complete failure. if i can get any help from expert diablo players or anyone else who's experienced the same as i, it would be quite nice and i feel really bad.-thank you for your time..

are you using a burnt disk? if you are, then that's probably the problem, diablo 2 and LoD have check cd cd protection for security reasons

Help

I installed the full for Diablo 2 and I also installed the expansion. The game works just fine untill it hits the loading section. It loads all the way untill it is about to play then it stays in that one spot and never starts. My computer is a very good computer and it meets all the requirements. What is wrong?

diablo install problems

Well, after installing the game, i put in the cd-key correctly on an original cd(real thing) andwhen i put in the play disc, it still reads error and starts to slow down my computer but never works. only the blizzard logo shows up where i click on play diablo and it doesnt work.this is for the regular diablo,not expansion. if someone could help me, it would be appreciated. Also, what are patches because i just started reading about it for diablo 2? -thanks

Patches repair/enhances different parts of the game. I suggest you go on Blizzard's Patch Page and getting the latest patch for your game.
