Hi there. I registered but haven't received the email to confirm my account yet.
I'm experiencing something extremely weird with my fps on diablo 2 LOD. I only play single player now as all the crap on Bnet got on my nerves too much. (not that I played multiplayer very much anyway.) The problem I'm having is something I noticed when I was using the modified d2gfx.dll to mule items to another character. (by having 2 instances of d2 open and TCP/IP'ing with myself.) I noticed when I hosted a TCP/IP game to mule that the game for some reason looked smoother than when the game was running in single player mode. At first I just thought it was my imagination but after using the /fps command on both a single player started game and a hosted TCP/IP multiplayer game, my fps in single player was at a steady 25 FPS, and when I was hosting a TCP/IP game, my FPS was showing 85 fps almost constantly!?!? This makes no sense to me! Why would my FPS be that much better when I am hosting a TCP/IP game than when playing a single player game?
Here's 2 screenshots showing what I mean.

What the.....? I really have NO idea why this is. It's really frustrating. If the game is able to run like that, why only in TCP/IP mode? I mean, I could just play in TCP/IP mode when I'm playing, but one of the things I really like about single player is the fact that the maps are saved, instead of being reset every game.
If anyone has any ideas for me, I would greatly appreciate the help.
My comp: Intel Celeron 1.7ghz, 512 DDR ram, intel 82845G graphics onboard video, Windows XP SP1.
