dice???

i am currently making a LOAP map and i wanted to make a unit. so, i was making it and saw "dice" and "number of dice on each side". what does that mean? that it will be random strentgh/defense/attack dmg/etc.?

You've noticed, I hope, that all units have a range of attack. From X - Y

That number is because you roll dice everytime you attack.

Let's say you have a unit with the base damage of
4

Everytime he attacks you roll
1 dice

With
6 sides (a regular 6 sided die)

That means, the lowest attack he can have is
5 (4 +1, the lowest number on the rolled die)

While the highest is
10 (4 +6, the highest number on the rolled die)

Ta da.
Math.

When did I state anywhere that that was the amount of damage it WOULD do?

That was the highest and lowest a unit with those stats could do, that's all.

Not the definate possibility.
