DII:Dead in town

this happened in a game the other day. i was in a game with two other guys dueling outside harogath. a problem with dueling there, is you cant see the edge of town very well...anywho i was runnin around and it started to lag hard when the lag subsided i got the big red letter that said "You have enterd Harogath" followed by "You have died. Death takes its toll of ..." At first i laughed...but then found that hitting escape didnt bring me back. the game wouldnt respond and froze the computer. any thoughts on what i shoulda done?
 
To your game you were in town, but to the server you were outside. You died outside, but your game registered as dieing in town, and this is more than likely what caused the crash. If your computer locked up totally there's nothing you could have done.
But it really shoulnd't matter since you still had your corpse and are only down some gold, right?

    I'd rather personally just own a backup of the Nuon data than see it go to AtariAge honestly. If it gets enshittified as per usual, or if some of the "regular" Jaguar folks get there, it's not gonna be fun
