Disable Hero

How do i do it so when the hero is picked, defend something, then Disable is do something else by defending with towers, re-enable the same hero and then go and do something with hero again,(different area(region))

i understood that you are trying a kind of defence map it has steps on one level u use heros on one level u use towers ect..
anyway its like this or not,
To stop people using units casting spells on them attacking something ect we generally use
Unit-pause unit command
if u define the paused units into wariables or types you can unpause them when ever you want

     unit pause (picked unit)
     unit make (picked unit) Invulareble
 Pick every units by anothertype owned by player do actions

Making them invulnareble will also disables this units for being attacked or being targeted by spells for hostiles.
