Does exist one Joystick who work easily with BF ?

Hi everybody !

I buy last week a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro specially to be able pilot EASILY helicopter in Battlefield mod Desert Combat and game Battlefield Vietnam.
I read a lot of things on internet and try a lot of things too.
I'm able to install and run BF with my joystick. But I crash all time. It's so tough that I ask if the game permit really joystick or programmer make pilot helicopter hardly to pilot like that.
For example if I just use throttle and do nothing other, helicopter begin to climb and later crash even if I don't use any keys/mouse/joystick.
I read that it's tough to pilot helicopter. I read too other find it's easy. So what is the TRUTH finally. Somebody have find a good joystick and able to pilot helicopter in the minute ?
I'm tire to lose my time trying to pilot helicopter and ask if really it's my joystick or if it's the game or programmer make helicopter difficult to pilot.

that joystick u got should work.
least for nam.
friend of mine uses it also and he hovers like a mofo capping flags hehe
i use an MS one .
i have the throttle allmost in the middle .. i use the w and s key to accelerate or decrease speed. soon i let the W key loose it starts to hover .

in EOD you better use the mouse to pilot the choppers.

all in all it takes practice

Well unfortunalty I hear what I don't want to hear.



I find boring sorry to need practice a lot to pilot helicopter. But I think BF Desert Combat and BF Vietnam are games where pilot helicopter is a lot hard.

Man I try again yesterday with my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro and not able "follow the line".

It's like I drink too many.

I would prefer pilot helicopter is like airplane.
Man. I don't think to be able pilot helicopter. I'm sceptical. I ask if they are not tips but good pilot prefer don't to say.

Man. I don't want practice during 1 month before pilot a helicopter. Sorry I'm too many impatient.

Must have a solution no ?

i am getting better with the chopper eachday as i find new insights.

however in bf1942 i was an okay pilot . till i started dogfighting with this top pilot .. sure at the start he shot me down again and again .. however he was nice enuff to explain how he did things and what i was doing wrong ... 5 days later he was still better then me but the dogfights lasted tons longer.

when i went back to the ppl i normally game with they noticed i gotten better hehehe
pilots who where equal to me where suddenly no match

guess it goes for the chopper aswell . i hadn't played it for a week and i noticed a regular on our server who gotten VERY good with the chopper . least he owned my ass over and over hehehe.
