Does Starcraft Shareware offers service on B.net or it can't go on b.net?
 
Yes, it does. However, you can only play as the terrans on the same one-on-one only map. Some people actually went thru the trouble of changing this with the help of a third party app, which lets you play with additional maps and in some cases as the zerg. But Starcraft is so cheap these days, why bother?
 
Whats the latest version of shareware?

I can't log on B.net with shareware. My version is v1.01. Is there an latest version of it or my computer has problem?(Internet connection is established)

There is no update to the Shareware version as I remember. I also seem to remember. The error message you are receiving is the game not detecting a 32 bit connection to the internet. If you are using AOL make sure you have the latest version installed. Also, if you are behind a firewall you have to have the proper ports open. I am sorry but I cannot recall what those ports are - it has been a long time.

Yeah.. Im rather poor these days so I can't really afford anything. At least I get to go on Battle.net with shareware... But now even shareware block me from going in to Battle.net. I DID NOTHING WRONG HOW COME I LOST CONNECTION WITH BATTLE.NET?
 
did you take a look at what I posted on the last reply of crashing problem?

Recently i installed a patch for staredit which can add the character Raszagal for placing, but then after i instaled the patch, all maps become Untitled Scenario. So i DELETED all the original staredit files and use SCXE as staredit. Does that affects it? if so, where can i get another staredit?
 
I don't know if it affects anything. It might, or it might not. It depends on what exactly the patch did. It might have screwed up Starcraft files, which could be why Starcraft is crashing. Where did you get this patch?

And, did you take a look at my post? I gave you three different reasons why Starcraft might be crashing. Did you check them out?
 
in addition...

The Starcraft crashing is only at multiplayer menu where I select Broodwar or Starcraft. After clicking it crashes back to windows. Except this, my Broodwar is very normal (all options worked in single player).
 
Just so I make I fully understand your situation... Go in the Starcraft folder and delete the "Errors" folder and all of it's content. Then, restart Starcraft and attempt to go in the multiplayer menu. After doing so, has the "Errors" folder recreated itself? Does it contain any .err file? If so, open it up with NotePad and copy-paste the first few lines of it here.
 
After deleting folder it comes back automatically with and .err file called Administrator 010001.

Did you reinstall the game? It used to be in C:\Windows\Driver Cache, but now it's in C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft? So did you get another copy or what?

Please post your computer specs as well.

I just move the files to Program Files. I'm currently waiting for my friend to lend me a copy of Starcraft. whats spec?

    Depending on how you pour the oil the consistency can vary wildly, but that's true for most emulsions. I can only make about two quarts at a time with my robo coup, and if I have to make several in series because I forgot to order it becomes really obvious even when I do it. We have to wait and mix them all together to make sure we have the same thing.

I do think I won though, I have to keep my fucking core staff and they have to be gainfully employed
