In my opinion the DS is a better system in terms of gameplay. PSP has better visuals but graphics do not make the game the gameplay does.

- Dual screens
- Much longer battery life
- Bottom screen can also act like a touchpad (you can touch things instead of clicking)
- Wireless LAN connection that can support up to 16 people
- Microphone (you can talk into it for certain games or chat wirelessly with each other on LAN)
- Backwards compatable. (you can still play old games, while on the PSP you can't play any old games)
- Way more games
- 100$ cheaper & weighs lighter
History repeats itself...Nintendo's Gameboy (the first one) & Sony's Game Gear were some of the first hand helds. Gameboy, as you guys hopefully know, did much better. It had worse graphics & things than Game Gear, but Game Gear took like 16 AA batteries and had a shorter battery life.
