Buddies want to have our own tournament. I have a dual processor Dell with a ton of memory. The server readme file states I should copy the EA sub-directory and start a second instance of the app ... presumably to speed up the game by utilizing both processors. I have not done that. Running a single copy works just fine. Before I hose my current installation, I wanted to know more about running two instances of the app. Specifically, which instance will control spawn times, friendly fire rules, points, etc. Is it safe to run like this? Will the two instances share the map as the documentation implies?
We're enjoying ourselves as is and I don't want to break anything. Faster would be better ...
