error: place cd-play in cd-rom

ok i tried everyhing on the blizzard site but nothing works. i install diablo 2 and try to play it and then it brings up a screen that says insert play disk when the disk is already in the drive and i tried restarting and everything blizzard said. i even d/led the new patch. but when i try the disk it says insert play disk. Someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like your best bet is www.gamecopyworld.com

They have a D2 Loader there where you can copy a certain file off of that play CD to the Diablo2 folder, then run the loader and it will load the game without the CD.
