It loads surprisingly quickly for me, so I have no trouble playing it. Just thought you said something about it taking a while on your computer....

By all means, good job Mind, just wanted to point out a few things I've seen from the "completed" game version. Yes, I've gotten out of my lazy chair--I've tested it and I'm still playing it--for about one-two hours now. Having fun and accounting errors

It's a beautiful map though, I'm playing this thing here totally solo with computers (normal; that may be why blue is retarded) for the three main groups. Just killed the Insurgents at level 16.

So, down to the point--

Fleet of ships in the Top Right Corner?

In the top right corner there's a group of hostile ships that, for some reason, don't belong to the guard and therefore shoot my transport ship when I get close. What is the point of this fleet? I can't kill it either--I don't see any docks selling offensive boats.

Whoa, double-crossing Realtor!

Is this a joke? It's pretty funny, but I don't think it was intentional. Towards the bottom left corner, there is a Realtor who sells a small house just to the left of a realtor selling a medium house. There is also a store of some sort just to the left and down of the small house. Now this cheating Realtor sells me the small house and converts it, but he doesn't leave! And more importantly, his "buy house ability" cools down! This means that if I play with another human/battle.net user, they can buy that little small house about a minute after I buy it...and all for just 1000 gold.

Totally strange AI

All three AIs are strange in their own reasons.

Undead -- Attack immediately in a seemingly good attempt at siege. Unfortunately, I don't think they're supposed to rampage through the city and then start fighting the Bailiff's forces. Towards the end of the hour, they just kind of spread all over the place finding their way into every single fight with the insurgents and/or Town Defenses. They train troops correctly until their heroes killed--they don't even revive him.

Town Defenses -- Uh...what? The only thing the "town center" does is revive the Bailiff who goes off on attempted (but always failed) heroic solo invasions of the Insurgent and Undead bases. What happened to the troops? All of the buildings except that rotating spheres one are intact, and no troops were built even before that. This part of the AI needs a lot of fixing. Hope you have a backup version as I believe you've protected the map.

And at the end, I saw him standing proud over the ruins of the Undead Center. Unfortunately, he was too stupid to notice a Slaughterhouse still standing, which my troops had to kill.

Insurgents -- Nothing to say here. Units are trained and follow the annoyingly cheap hero (might want to make a note of that--Vampire Aura (it seems like that--might not be true) and not to mention his stats bonusing items make him stronger than me--and he's 4 levels under. My trusty hammer does put him away though) around the city to cause trouble in random areas.

What we have here is a failure to communicate....

(Heh, hope you didn't get the wrong idea with the topic :))

So anyway, when I click on a unit, I don't always get a reply. But when I take a few steps away and click on another person, I get the other dude's reply and the newly clicked person's reply. Shouldn't be too hard to fix--you fixed the class-description problem at the beginning.

And for a "small" note. Shouldn't clicking children give you useless babble or a sloppy message that says something more helpful than the adults? The kids are always wandering around...they're bound to know something more than the rumor-passing adults. I click on this kid and he tells me in the same exact feeling the adult is showing. I don't think they can copy THAT much behavior.

WHAT? I order a photo-shoot! My horse bloody won!

Perhaps this had to do with the fact that there was a villager on the racing field and that I've received a warning that ' ' killed a Villager. Either way, my gambled horse pulled ahead and won, but it said I didn't win. *Sniff*
---

---
Cool, my Bear's communist like myself :D

When you're done winning a gambling bear contest, the color of the bear which you were set to gamble on should revert back to black, instead of staying the color. I've mentioned "communist" because my dude's red, but that's besides the point.

What does this tent use? Black hole compression?

Tents hold a whopping 10 units, not 2.
Tents can't hold items.
Tents can't train troops.

Why?

Minor note in Graphics....

Shouldn't the Arcane Observatory to the right of Lieutenant Dernek's office be up a little farther in it's walled-in spot? Backyards are kind of pointless.
---

---
Minor note in Information....

Very small thing worth mentioning. While my name on the forum is Rinpun, my battle.net name is XtremeLightning. If you don't mind, please put "XtremeLightning on battle.net" in parantheses next to Rinpun.

even thought you posted all these errors you have to admit- this is a great map:D

Read the first few sentences :)

I'm just helping the guy out so he doesn't have the majority of battle.net (hard-to-please idiots) crying about errors in the game.

Played the game for two hours and then finally finished it--that was all it took to explore. I would like it as a LoaP though. I have yet to play as blue solo and beat up the Undead myself. It seems like it will be great for battle.net, replacing those loser LoaPs.

Peasant life ("modern" or not) is not all about drugs and sex and corrupt policemen, you stupid dweebs. In fact, real "peasant life" is so boring, it's great if you can mix it in Warcraft III style, like Mind's game. Who doesn't like having users leveling up in an atmosphere where there is constant fighting all over the alleys in the city and in the forests? Who actually likes playing a boring LoaP with gated drug lords, mafia, and policemen where you get to the point where the mafia is cussing his heart out or shouting with glee depending on if the policemen take action or not. And the druggie lets nobody in, for he wants to keep his amazingly cheap drugs, which take on the effect of books (to the point where nobody can kill a druglord without the police and their cars--it just doesn't make sense), for himself.

read?...This concept is new to me...:D yeah i reread it and my bad:)

I concur, Rinpun. I intend to still playtest the map even though it's already been released. After all, better to find out what's wrong with it in this kind of setting, than to have Bnet people never play the map cos they don't like some stuff.

That double-crossing Realtor is actually pretty funny. It could make things really interesting if it was a different realtor every time, and there was a text message that went along with it. Couldn't you see that really mixing things up?

Today I had to scramble, I didn't work most of dinner service and no one told me shit. They had a rough few hours lol
  • Varine Varine:
I have two salmon, Sockeye and Atlantic. Atlantic is used for the kids salmon and the salmon and beet salad, and can also be added onto any dish or just as a side. Atlantic salmon will almost exclusively ever be FARMED, as it is endangered in the wild, and we ALWAYS cut them to 4 ounces.
  • Varine Varine:
SOCKEYE salmon, very different and this IS wild caught. We have an ENTREE version, and an add on version. The entree is 7 ounces, the add on is 4. Why? Because that is how someone that wasn't me set up the computer.
  • Varine Varine:
I had to have this conversation like ten fucking times tonight
  • Varine Varine:
The issue being, I came into work and had none of this whatsoever
  • Varine Varine:
    No one told me shit
  • Varine Varine:
So, taking into consideration that what I typed out up there is kind of some fucking nonsense that under normal circumstances no one really needs to fucking be able to explain in any rational way
  • Varine Varine:
Let alone trying to figure it out from a wildly stressed out me that is also on a phone call trying to get something to show up from Seattle tomorrow while trying to explain this salmon situation, that also is barely solved in maybe a few hours and and but I am bulking it with a few steelhead filets I have and that is a WHOLE fucking different thing to the 19 year old server that got put on day shift C crew that doesn't know who I am.
  • Varine Varine:
I did however really want days. I like getting off at 4 half the time, and that makes it worth it!
  • Varine Varine:
Also I hate my job right now but I think that was the hard part. Now it's just work
  • Varine Varine:
    @jonas I'm sorry? I don't know what you're referring to.
  • Varine Varine:
Once we hit winter I feel like I get to back to having a pretty cool job. Like I bitch about it all the time, but it's work. I'm still gonna bitch
  • Varine Varine:
All in all though I think this summer is going really well. Some complicated things, but at the end of the day it isn't THAT big of a deal. Not all of our servers have quite realized they are technically sales
  • Varine Varine:
Like yeah it is a substitute, but FOMO. Chef isn't getting this again this year, he has to figure it out, so it's slightly off on the menu, but that is more or less the LOWEST quality and price. Right now, steelhead is a real stealhear, right?
  • Varine Varine:
Like fuck off even I can do it
  • Varine Varine:
I am going to get one of my servers to do that in her server voice and you'll see my point
  • Varine Varine:
Maybe the bartender. Idk, it's one of my favorite things to hear them go from calm to customer service voice. They will translate it to like "The chef is trying to change that a bit right now so he does have a Alaskan river steelhead. Yeah like the one you might fish probably!" And then the girls can bat their eyes and do pretty girl server shit
  • Varine Varine:
At least that's how imagine some of them. Did you know mayonnaise is dairy free? A suprisingly amount of people don't\
  • The Helper The Helper:
    mayo is eggs right?
  • The Helper The Helper:
Seems I never watched the Witcher - looks like i have a lot of content
  • The Helper The Helper:
Season 1 Episode 8 the marathon continues...
  • jonas jonas:
    mayo is eggs & oil
    +1
  • The Helper The Helper:
I got halfway season 2 on The Witcher and it lost me. I am going to have to pick this one up again later.
  • jonas jonas:

  • The Helper The Helper:
