expansion!?!?

i added a drop item to a doodad and it said I need the expansion to save now, Not to mention I cant open my saved file now .......What expansion is this? is it free? downloadable?

Might be a new world editor patch/update.

It only could be that you are under W3 Reign of Chaos.
The expansion it mentions it's W3 The Frozen Throne
It's not free nor donwloadable... Buy it!! Because it worths whatever they ask you to pay.
Includes a better editor, four new campaigns, new units and abilities and doodads and terrain and... It would be long to explain all the great stuff.

hmmm. yeah, but i wouldnt advise buying FT now tho, wc3 is a dying game. Its life will be up in 2-3 years max. hmmm, i wouldnt adivise buying it, despite the fact its (in my opinion) one of the best games ever made.

If you want to do mapping, or like mapping, modding etc. i strongly recommend you to buy it.

I think it's a good idea to buy a great game, despite the fact it's dead (I don't think W3 is dying yet, but that's your opinion...)
I just bought "Lucasfilm Adventure Compilation" and all its games are dated in the 90's
They're great GREAT games and it's worth paying for having all the original stuff
