Expiration Timer not showing

When you add an expiration timer to some unit, you see, when selecting it,
this blue bar that shows the time remaining.
Which is good.

However, when said unit is a structure, the timer still works,
since the units actually disappears upon expiration,
but the progress bar isn't there...

Now, is that normal?
Can't structures have visible expiration timers?
Anything else I should be looking for?

As a workaround, I've tried "Stats - is a building = false".
And it works
The timer is showing.

Obviously, that's probably just another can of worms...
