Download the LATEST version of gap. The playlists are not very usefull.


This program can scan a CD, directory or game data file for sounds. It supports many data base files that games use.

For example, I extracted sounds from Command and Conquer.

This utility seems a little tricky to figure out, so I am posting some general comments.

-Again, download the latest version listed on the site.

-The playlist files are games that have already been scanned. This just saves you work when scanning a CD.

-Once you scan in a CD or file, click on the sound you would like to export. Go to file, then save. It will default to the name of the original file, but it is NOT exported them all. It will save in WAV format.

-When scanning an entire CD, it can take a very long time and may not respond. Remember, this program is parsing 200 some MB files. So be patient, it is working.
