Sci/Tech Fermilab Holometer tests to see if Universe is a Hologram in 2011

If you "lived inside" a hologram, you could tell by measuring the blurring. Fermilabs is building a interferomter to test space time for holographic blurring.

This is probably one of the more fundamental questions in theoretical physics right now. Any kind of hard data in either direction could, eventually, lead to the so called "theory of everything". The theory of everything is the logical continuation to, and the unification of, all physics done in the last 100 years (relativity and quantum dynamics in particular). So, yes, this is really good use.

Isn't entropy something like the even spread of all energy and that given enough time, our Universe will suffer a 'Freeze' where all life will die out, followed by black holes and then the low energy shit? ._.

any view of a hologram can be recreated from any piece of that hologram... If the universe is holographic, what does that mean for us "pieces" of the universe?
