I accidently just voted for 10 :p.

I have played 1, 10, 10-2 and 12, I plan to get 7 sometime :).

My favourite is by far 10, the story-line deviates much from the other games and the religion that they put into the story gave them plenty of twists to toy with.

I also love how even after you've beaten the final boss, you can play from where you last saved and continue to unlock everything else :D.

FFX is definitely one of the greater games I've played in life (the greatest I've played on a PS2)

I could go on about how brilliant this game is, but some FF purist will come along and say the new combat system is crap, so I ain't gonna waste my time any longer.

I will say that I'm a fan of old FF games, but I happen to love the XII battle system. Though they may be different, I think both battle systems are great. Speaking of XII, while I haven't finished it, a frined tells me that it has the best ending out of any RPG (or other game) he's ever played - and he plays TONS of games.

Anyway, X and X-2 is a lot more popular than I realized - I expected to see VII way above everything else.

He couldn't have more than 10 options :)

I think personally that VII and X are the best (not X-2)

The stories are incredible, as are the characters :)

I dont hate the XII battle system, but i prefer the old one :) (more... Strategy and planning things out)

X is the newest yet, not just released type new (XII), so naturally its the only most people would play.

Personally, the first I played was Tactics for PS1. Then from there I don't know. :\

Original tactics kicked ass, tactics advanced made you think "wait, didn't I play this already?", and war of the lions was a well-deserved dress-up of the original Tactics.

yea i agree tactics is the best one but FF7 isn't too far behind. Tactic's advanced was just dumb, the laws pissed me off i didn't understand y they would put them in w/o the laws the game mightve been pretty good.

Anyway overall here's what i thought about the FF games that i played, 1 being the one i liked the most and 6 being the one i hated. Their all good but i just think that some were better then others.

1. FF tactics: this game brings a different feeling to RPG's instead of the old way of just choosing abilities to attack your enemy in this game you actually have to come up with a Stradigy and move your characters to a good and effective place where as he/she can do the most damage.

2. FF7: The story line is great and the scenes and music are pretty cool. This game is just like any old final fantasy game but i think its pretty balanced and fun.

3. FF8: I like the idea of being able to put spells into your attributes, it allows you to have a nice Viarity to choose from. But i hate how you cant go back to the present after you go into the furture to fight the last boss

4. FFX: This game wasn't to bad the storyline is nice and the grafics are amazing. But i think some parts of the game were really boring and annoying.

5. FF9: I think this game was a little unbalanced Zidane's ultimate skill does to much damage for this game. I think you can kill the last boss with just a few hits from it. You can use it twice each dealing 9999 damage, i think thats alittle to much.

6. X-2: I never beat this game i just quit b4 the last boss. I wasn't nearly high enough and i didn't want to train for another 10 levels. I also found the storyline for this game to be very corny. it was just a bunch of girls dancing around finding spheres. For the first 3 chapters you were only finding spheres only on chapter 4 was where you actually got involved in the storyline and actually did something to find "him"(don't wanna spoil anything) also i thought that Yuna seemed like a completly different character from FFX, since when does she use guns?

I have FF 11 but my PS2 broke down somehow b4 i got to playing it :banghead:

well... i never finished any FF game in any console (old/new)

but the only FF related game i had is FFT:A (Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced for the GBA)

i think that was the GREATEST handheld game i ever had...
sadly... it got stolen... together with my GBA:SP and all my cartrigdes...

now i have a DS and i only got Luminous Arc... crappy game...
i still plan on buying another copy of FFTA... and FFTA2...

it was the first SRPG i had. the jobs / abilities system was the best for a handheld.

the replay value is off the charts with 300 missions to complete.

the only things that would improve it are:

better grafix (special effects and sprites)
unique sprites per job of unique units
more jobs and abilities
more items
longer story.
a new game+ mode

  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
