Not every function should be put in it's own library...

Pretty much a duplicate of the one in (my) stringFind, the difference being that yours doesn't support case-insensitivity, and mine doesn't support the 'start' parameter. That and a different return value for 'string not found'.

Start is a rather standard practice for string find ; ).


You get to case insensitivity and stuff once you start using regex ; P.


Also, if you didn't notice, I added a start argument to all of the string functions =).

But yea, didn't know that your function existed ; P. Still though, for my purposes, I only want the one function. Your entire libray is overkill.
