Flying Machine Bug?

hmm nevermind seems theres two flying machines one being called a gyrocopter.

Gyrocopter was on that super nintendo pilot wings, and the wyvern is off Age of Wonders. Theres Green Wyverns and stuff. But there is also Abominations and stuff... wierd

I'm no expert, but didn't they have wyverns in WCII? I never played the full version of the game, so I don't know for sure. And how can wyvern be a copyrighted name??? It's a WORD that has existed longer than the game industry (I think). Might as well copyright "Dragons, Knights, and Ogres, oh my."

Lol, i have this 40year old book, (not 40 years OLD, just its been out for 40years) that has an index of a shit load of monsters and demons and such, i use it for my ideas for creeps and stuff. an wyvern is in it.... so is ogre. And didn't blizz change demolisher to cataplut? or vice-versa

0_o wasnt aware u could copyright names like that to the point someone couldnt use it, infact i think its totally legal for blizz to use wyvern and gyrocopter.

just like someone else could make a restaurant mcdonalds or a book called harry potter ect. Its just the certain things that are trademarked like the M symbol in mcdonalds.

see you guys are forgeting the fact that wyverns are that name of the animal. so y would you call a wyverns with a person just a wyvern thats y they changed it to wind rider.

And the tank's model was changed, the took off the bulldozer part i think. I never used them, though they get annoying when 5 come in and blow up you tier 3 main builden in ladder games.

I believe the Steam Tank was changed because of a conflict with the Warhammer Steam Tank (wild guess, but they do look similar). The other stuff is probably similar. In any rate, it's not like there's much you can do about it.

Actually, if you wanted to, you could change them all back for whatever map you're making.

ok....that wont happen but o well...people copywrite the stupidest thing. I mean cmon, cant you think of your own name for stuff, and dont have to take someone elses... it gets uber annyoing when your reading a paper or something like that and theres about 50 regestered and copywrite symbols on it

Catapult went to Demolisher, not because of Copyright but because how all primary siege changed. The steam tank changed to siege engine, ballista changed to glaive thrower.
