On the options menu, there isn't an option to remove the ads. You can only change up to forum controls.

I also recall suggesting this a few months back, to negative responses

if were going to have a new skin, atleast have it look like something I could not have had made (which would be a good thing)

I was reffering to the navigation bar, i.e. the bit where you can go to Community, Entertainment, Creativity, etc. Not the ads underneath which to be honest I never really payed the slightest bit of attention.
It just feels... underwhelming.

It's not that bad, but it's not that great either.

So, I noticed the top part of the Unreal theme is more darker now, "The Helper" text is more visible, but I still don't see the "Your Technical Forums for Help" part. (What was it?)

And I do hoped the new theme can, well...sort of, hide away those 5 text ads.

I have trouble identifying the threads that have new posts in them. It's a lot harder on Unreal.

Impossible. The default one is the easiest one around. Just see if it has a paper in the envelope, and that's the thread with a new post. I admit the Unreal one is way too hard for my squinty eyes.

www.gamebanshee.com has icons exactly like ours - except that they aren't low quality and fit with the dark background. Nothing guarantees they will fit with the white background though.

The use of that smiley set may be subject to licensing. You don't want any legal trouble for "borrowing" some images, do you?

I just tried it and it does crash. Now going to test in IE to see if it's just FF. Since FF doesn't always work on the chat anyway.

Doesn't happen to me. Latest Firefox, latest everything (except SP3).
