# Free Gold Bugging...

I have 2 triggers that enable gaining of free gold to players each second, as follows:

Trigger:
• Map Initialization
• Events
• Map initialization
• Conditions
• Actions
• -------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------
• -------- Players Norte --------
• -------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------
• For each (Integer A) from 1 to 12, do (Actions)
• Loop - Actions
• If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
• If - Conditions
• ((Player((Integer A))) slot status) Equal to Is playing
• Then - Actions
• Player Group - Add (Player((Integer A))) to PlayersPlaying
• If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
• If - Conditions
• ((Integer A) Greater than or equal to 2) and ((Integer A) Less than or equal to 5)
• Then - Actions
• Player Group - Add (Player((Integer A))) to PlayersNorth
• Else - Actions
• If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
• If - Conditions
• ((Integer A) Greater than or equal to 7) and ((Integer A) Less than or equal to 10)
• Then - Actions
• Else - Actions
• Else - Actions

This trigger adds every player that is playing to the player group PlayersPlaying, and adds them to PlayerNorth if they are in slot 2 to 5, or to PlayerSouth if they are in slot 7 to 10.

Then I have the free gold / s trigger:

Trigger:
• Free Gold
• Events
• Time - Every 1.00 seconds of game time
• Conditions
• Actions
• Player Group - Pick every player in PlayersNorth and do (Actions)
• Loop - Actions
• Player - Set (Picked player) Current gold to (((Picked player) Current gold) + (5 - (Number of players in PlayersNorth)))
• Player Group - Pick every player in PlayersSouth and do (Actions)
• Loop - Actions
• Player - Set (Picked player) Current gold to (((Picked player) Current gold) + (5 - (Number of players in PlayersSouth)))

So if 4 players (max number on a team) are playing on the North side, each one gains 1 gold /s. But if only 1 player is playing on the South side, he/she gains 4 gold /s.

My problem is only the first player in each team is gaining the gold...
Any ideas why is this bugging??

I know it's not the "putting the players in the group" because when I play with 2 players on the same team, the first player (not mattering which slot he is on) gains 3 gold /s (5 - 2 = 3), whereas the second player gains nothing.
Just to be sure, I checked with Strings the players that were on each side, and it always answered correctly the number of players and which players were on which side...

Instead of of setting gold, use add player property action... not rly sure what is wrong with your trigger.... maybe set gold bugs up? jus try using add property instead...

if possible, could you upload the map? (you can pm too). sometimes, it just takes a little tinkering and experimenting. from your code itself, it looks perfectly fine

So, changing from "Set" to "Add" didn't work...
I changed my trigger so that it now it does Player by Player, and not Players in Player Group...
Hope it works now.. I just need to test it...
I'll upolad a map if this doesn't work...

Just do this:
Event- Every 1 second of game time
Condition
Action- Pick all players matching matching player slot status is equal to true and do actions
Loop-Actions
Add 1x number of players in playernorth to picked player's current gold
Just use the count number of players in player group action...
It WORKS and it is easy...

Did you see my frist trigger before posting?
My first trigger is:
1 - better suited for what I want (I need gold variation equal to the number of players to each team, and not a general sum for every player)
2 - not working

Then your Trigger 1 is screw up because I find nothing wrong with Trigger 2
Trigger 1 is kind of hard to understand because of all the Integer A and and conditions.
Couldn't you just add each player to a group individualy? It's less confusing and it's somewhat better.
There is another solution,
Do this:

You should add the "matching player slot status is equal to playing" action for the second one.
Instead of using all those Integer As...
Don't make life harder for yourself... You're "complicating the uncomplicated"

Actually, as I said in post #6, i made a action for each player, that is:

Trigger:
• Actions
• Add to Player 2 current gold 5 - Number of Players in PlayerNorth
• Add to Player 3 current gold 5 - Number of Players in PlayerNorth
• Add to Player 4 current gold 5 - Number of Players in PlayerNorth
• Add to Player 5 current gold 5 - Number of Players in PlayerNorth
• Add to Player 7 current gold 5 - Number of Players in PlayerSul
• Add to Player 8 current gold 5 - Number of Players in PlayerSul
• Add to Player 9 current gold 5 - Number of Players in PlayerSul
• Add to Player 10 current gold 5 - Number of Players in PlayerSul

I'll be testing it on a 4x4 map this night... Post 2morrow the results...
