Kerblimeny.
I am running a Radeon 7500 on a computer with an MSI Motherboard, AMD 1.2 Ghz processor, 512 MB Ram, (Desktop) with a cable modem.
I have a properly updated version (1.5) of BF1942, updated from the deluxe edition that I bought recently.
The installation went perfectly.
When I attempt to use multiplayer, I can only play on the first server I try. If i disconnect from that server, and try to connect to another, my game gives me a screen that tells me my CD is not inserted.
My CD is in fact, inserted.
The game then shuts down.
If I can find a good server first try, there is no problem, its just extremely annoying.
Does anyone have any information on this phenomenon? It's just plain weird. The only thing that I can think of is that my case power supply might be intermittently losing power and failing to properly supply the CD.
Thanks in advance
