Yes it can be that cheap.. but its not a Real GF4.

Its a GF4 MX. Which is essentially a GF2 with a new memory architecture. It doesn't have the nFiniteFX engine, nor does it have the pixel shader pipelines.

The GF4 Ti series are the true GF4s.

And the ti4200 is coming out pretty soon.. that will be about the cheapest true GF4 you can buy.

except the Feforce 4 Ti 4200 will only have 64 Meg of video memory (not sure if it is DDR).

the Ti4400 and Ti4600 both have 128meg of DDR video memory

Yes.. the nVidie Ti4200 reference card ships with 64Ram. But the developers are also saying they're aiming for the sub $150 market with it.

My guess is someone will step in and give the Ti4200 the extra RAM, and charge a little bit more... since it will still be cheaper than the Ti4400s, they're probably hit a nice little market with it.

i took off the fan
it is a souped up gf2 it is really sad
tho it has ddr ram and in a way it is not that expensive it preforms less then a gf3 with direct x 8 and above support

it is a shitty card
i would never buy it
the higher end are alot better .. going to buy one when i am in the states
