GeForce MX440-8x problem

I have an AMD2000 PcChips 810 mobo, and when i install the graphics card and the drivers, i restart my computer, and as soon as it gets to the windows xp logon screen, the monitor goes on standby.
I have installed the newest drives for the card but i get the same problem.

any1 help?
 
Go to safe mode, and turn down the Refresh rate. (Display control panel--> Settings --> Advanced tab--> Monitor)

It looks like the refresh rate you are trying to use it too high for your monitor and resolution setting. You could also try to install the proper drivers for your monitor (which would basically just block you from using an unacceptable refresh rate)

You should be able to handle 60hz. Then try slowly turning it up until it stops working again. Turn down the resolution ("desktop size") to something like 1024x768 for now.
