gem?

Just a quick question - what does the gem in the corner of the screen do?
 
Try clicking on it. Then try doing stuff in the editor after clicking it.
 
oh oh oh!!! I know!! ;)

Anyway, once you clikc on ze little pretty gem, let's say you, dlete a unit, you will see and hear his/her full death animation and sound! That is all I've seen it do, but I'm sure there is more...

Blizzard has been hiding 'The Gem' even in thier own forums, some guy asks "What does the 'Gem Activated/Deactivated' do?" and a blizzard rep replies... 'As we dont want to reveal what the gem does, it is working properly and there is nothing to worry about on or off'. But that was for the Diablo 2 gem ;)
 
Heh, never even seen it before, and Ive made a lot of maps, thats funny. :shades:

    Wow - the change in the stats are major. I kind of knew it was all bots but wow, to see the effect. Why the social media sites cant do something like this I have no idea.

    Probably inflates their numbers so they look better to advertisers.

    Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots

    The first gate is stopping all the bots that don't execute javascript.

    That's the main thing with Anubis - no Javascript, no site. Typically you can still get the site to load without Javascript.

    Real users can't really disable Javascript anymore these days.
