I want to know if there is anyone out there with the same video card (the Gforce4 mx 400 by nvide) and had the same problem (the game quadruple verdically on screen). In blizzard tech support it request that you update your drivers (which i did and no change). What i think is that, it has to do something with the settings on the video card. I'm played with it moving the setting, selecting this and that, but no luck.
What i was hoping is that someone out there (you guys) had the some problem with that video card and fixed it.

850 amd, 640 ram, gforce4 mx 400 video card, 1gig of free hard drive space

i have a mx420 and my system specs are less powerful than yours.. yet my card seems to be fine.

Like i said, i don't know what's the problem, and it gives me a headache with it trying to figure it out.

You have installed the detonator drivers from here ?

Create a Warcraft III shortcut anywhere you want. Add

-opengl

in the target box. I should look like this :

"C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Warcraft III.exe" -opengl

What resolution do you play Warcraft3 in? The lower the res, the higher your FPS goes.

prob. solve

It wasn't the video card but the game itself, (as MachitoMan had previousely posted). I found out yesterday as one more time i started out the game, looking like it alwasy looks. I could bearly make out options in the menu, (it's not just four times on the screen but it's also a little snowy). anyways, went in there, and went to video, and the opions for the game resoultion came out, which i could bearly make out.
I could bearly make it out but it was set as 1024 * 768, 32bit. I chose the lowest resolution in there, and bingo, i could make it out. Went and tried it out to the highest it can go (it goes 800 x 600, 32bit, but anything higher that that, you can't see much of anything.
Now i'm able to play warcraft, had to be something simple.

this is the fix I get from that yeah this is hard to control. disabling bots is pretty much necessary as ai and other bots would push really old threads to the top. reduce weight of view count. disable guest view tracking if you really want to push active threads to the top. a bit of tinkering for a few days with the weights and other settings should get you a decent trending widget box.
  • Ghan Ghan:
I changed the settings a bit.
  • Ghan Ghan:
Narrowed it to 7 days for the half-life and set views to 0 weight.
  • The Helper The Helper:
I dont think Trending would work for this forum it would be better to just have the last 5 posts from anywhere
  • Ghan Ghan:
Probably will have to give it some time to update.
  • Ghan Ghan:
I'm guessing it is not retroactive.

One thing I have noticed and I dont know if it is by design but like 1 out of 3 times I come to the site the Anubis screen just hangs open, if I refresh it will go away but sometimes it hangs
  • Ghan Ghan:
    I've seen that as well.
  • The Helper The Helper:
Wow - the change in the stats are major. I kind of knew it was all bots but wow, to see the effect. Why the social media sites cant do something like this I have no idea.
  • Ghan Ghan:
Probably inflates their numbers so they look better to advertisers.
  • The Helper The Helper:
Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots

Weekend went by too fast. Next weekend I am going to try to do a nature thing - buddy of mine lives by the Colorado river and has some kayaks and invited me to do some kayaking from a place he knows to get on the river.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    That sounds like an adventure.
