Give item ability

Can someone help me?im workin on a halo deathmatch and i want to make it so if you for example buy a claw of attack(of course i will make a custom one) and make the hero get another projectile art,a new range,a new attack speed and damage when he use it?

i got another questionmaybe ill sound a little nooby but whatever)i never found custom abiliy editor.Where should i press to make it appear?plz help

i dont know if i can help you with your first question but the 2nd, you need the frozen throne editor and then look in the object editor and click on abilities.

for your first question, i would try basing the item off of an orb of some type to change the projectile art, then add 'item - attack speed bonus' to the item , also add the attack damage ability to the item to increase the extra damage given. not sure about the range, maybe add the long rifles buff or effect to it.. im not sure

doesn't work.I need the damage do be much more than +12(wich is the highest extra damage amound you can get from adding item abilities), and
i cant change projectile art,damage,attack speed or splash :banghead:

to increase atatck speed, give the item the ability Item - Attack Speed Bonus.
(There are 2 types : 'Item Attack Speed Bonus (Greater)' and 'Item Attack Speed Bonus (Gloves of Haste)')

You can add more than +12 Damage, for example if you wanted 24 you would have:

Item Attack Damage Bonus +12
Item Attack Damage Bonus +12

You can give an item more than 1 ability of the same type.

Splash is automatically added if you base the item on the fire orb

Not sure about projectile art, but im sure its something to do with orbs

dont work.Well it works but not as i want it.like i want the rockets to do like 700 damage but i can jus use 4 item abilities.

You can only use it 4 times because the item is a Charged item. try changing it to Artifact or miscellaneous, then it should have inifinate uses, and will use the cooldown that you gave the ability.

To make the spell do 700 damage, you should edit the ability you gave to the item and change whatever fields necessary. Assuming it's based from Cluster Rockets, you should change 'Data - Damage Amount' to 70, change 'Data - Missile Count' to 10, change 'Data - Max Damage' to 700 and you may want to change 'Data - damage Interval' to 0 so the damage is dealt all at once.
