I won't be able to make it to work next Tuesday.

I'm going to visit my uncle Nikko Bellic down in Liberty City.

Grand theft auto IV, its coming out next week. Thats April 29, 2008.

It's based in primarily in New York City this time, and will feature both singleplayer and multiplayer gameplay. It will be available for the XBox360 and PS3.

From wikipedia:
GTA IV will be the first game in the GTA series to include online multiplayer on a console with goals of supporting up to 16 players and has been confirmed that multiplayer will be open-ended gameplay that allows players to explore the whole city. Later revealed in an issue of PSM, GTA IV will have 15 modes of play and support up to 16 players

I'm going to buy it for sure

I'm not a big fan of GTA series. Always seemed pretty stupid. I'm for more... tournament quality games... Like rts, fps, fighters, etc.

I'll probably buy it (I enjoyed the other GTA games but running around shooting everything possible got a bit boring) but it'll have to wait until after my exams (how sucky :()

Never knew it had multipler capability, but I really can't see how they can have 15 game-modes (I can see stuff like Assassination-style games, possibly races like the GTA SA missions, but not much else. Perhaps hide-and-seek :p)

Extremely disappointed with the lack of a PC version. Really hope it'll come out eventually.

I've never met someone who didn't like GTA.

Although yeah, its not the same type of game as those you mentioned.

Its unique.

Here is one.

The game looks pretty nice, but I just don't like the slaughtering in it. It's always fun to drive cars and such a things, though :p..

Game play is a little too realistic

Haha, I can only imagine the chaos in multiplayer, person after person jacking cars (or air force jets, whatever they added this time).

So ReVolver, is it worth it? :p

The game play is a little too realistic imo, he runs and loses stamina like in the old version but in this game the controls walking around are a little too sensitive and just bumping into a car will cause you to lose health or just hitting someone in the car while in your car.

The chaos is still there and it's still amusing to mess around in the streets :p

I've only liked San Andreas though >_<

Haha nice comic.

I reserved it earlier today. From the same place.

They didn't mention a prostitute though... -_-

I've fallen in love with every GTA game to date so I doubt this will let me down.

It was difficult pulling myself away from it. It's very awesome.

The storyline is actually worth paying attention to this time. It's not so much "talk to this guy then this guy", although essentially thats what happens. It's got alot more depth, parts allow you to either save someones life or end it, or choose to help your cousin or go on a date. That would be getting into spoilers though so I'll stop there.

It's worth buying. I definately will get the $60.00 out of it.

You can't ride on a car anymore, you ragdoll and fall down. But it has good reasons, when you run people over they ragdoll over the car and get smashed against walls or you car smashes them underneath and you go flying 4ft in the air!

I especially liked flying through the windshield, or killing a driver and having their head honk the horn for a short time while they drive aimlessly into the walls. Oh, and you can shoot while your driving, in any direction... Not just left and right.

I played the Free Play game mode with a few mature players who didn't just kill each other, very fun trying to survive from the cops together!

I made a short video of it, but its not very good quality. My tv tuner was only $20.00 and looks really bad. I only played on it for about an hour so didn't get very much footage.

It's taking too long to upload, so I'll post it tomorrow.

Heres the link that i think will be the movie... but I'm not sure.

[Gaming] The Heartbeat of Liberty City (GTA IV)

There's a chained, beating heart inside the Statue of Happiness. Seriously

The hunt is on! Millions of people are already fervently searching for the biggest Easter Egg shocker in GTA IV, and if there's something crazier than this, it's going to be one hell of a summer.

I played it earlier, it was SO awesome! The gameplay was completely different from all the other grand theft autos, and the police are way smarter than they were, I had 6 stars in no time and I ran into a road block and flew through my windshield. Sick!

Im definatly buying this for PS3, then I'll have a proper game to play over and over just for fun instead of beating it and then never playing it again.

Seb!

I just got it yesterday, lol (I know fast right) and its soooo good. :) I love how its so realistic with the graphics and the flying out of windows and the hotwiring cars and how the cars have sooo much detail on them and they're so shiney! And the blowing up of the cars, and the highly sensetive suspension, and there's sooo much to explore, and running over tons of people! and... I better stop. :D

So what it really is me trying to implement some kind of better site navigation not change the whole theme of the site
  • Varine Varine:
How can you tell the difference between real traffic and indexing or AI generation bots?
  • The Helper The Helper:
The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats
  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
