GRRRRR im sic of east realm, first i joined a game, then i wanted to get my sorc and all the chars are gone cept for the 1 i was usin! that was on the 27th an they are still not back, now my barb tried joinin games an always failed,now today it says "player not found" EAST realm sux!

Type regedit and click OK.
Click on the + icon beside the HKey_Local_Machine branch.
Click on the + icon beside the Software branch.
Select the Battle.net branch and press the delete key.
Click on the + icon beside the HKey_Current_User branch.
Click on the + icon beside the Software branch.
Select the Battle.net branch and press the delete key.

Delete the bncache.dat file in your Diablo II directory.

Delete the folder USEast in the Save folder. All your characters are stored on the Battle.net servers.

when i typed regedit an clicked OK nothin happened, but i did do the other 2 things an it still doesnt work

that's because you have to do them all for it to have any effect.

When you say it did nothing, you mean you clicked the ok button, and regedit didn't open?

What OS are you running? Do you have full access?
Do you have a limited access user account on a multiple user PC?

left click start
left click run
in the text box there, type

msinfo32

press the OK button

what is the OS name ?

the computer is made by Cyber Power and the OS is 98

into should bring up the registry.
