I hope Guitar Hero gets more frets. But co-op would be weird unless it is up/down split screen.

To be honest, I have no desire to play GH3 for the most part. There's really not much "new" besides battle mode and the songs, and don't get me started on the songs.

For a game called "Legends of Rock", the tracklist is laughable.

I also prefer number 2, but also in terms of gameplay. Number 3's HO/PO system is way too wide open. That, and the songs aren't actually any fun to play (until you get to section 5), and the bonus tracks are crap too.

Overrated, but still fun nevertheless.

I got my 360 and a copy of GH3 on Saturday, and I've been playing it since .

I'm currently against Lou on medium (yeah, not too far, but atleast I beat Easy mode <3).

Sorry bumping old thread, but people hack now i believe.

Wifi battle against someone, i used whammy and they still were able to hit notes, they started to put the whammy down, then they stopped, and stopped playing altogether for like 30 sec, and meter never went down. Same happens Broken Strings. They also got Powerup Steal at times where power ups were not even there, nor battle notes.

Then death drain, it drained nothing from the meter.

Also, in another Sudden Death, i started with Whammy, and Amp overload. I used Whammy, then Amp when they got rid of it. They missed the first Drain cuz of this, and i got and used. We both got second, and i lost. How? I don't know. I had more percent after the battle.

Only explanation i have is Hacks :/
I guess Gameshark or AR finally caught up to Gh3

Woo! I only have 5 songs left to 5-star on expert! All of section 8, and the cursed Knights of Cydonia.
I don't think it will happen for a long time though, Call of Duty 4 online is waaaay more addictive.
GH3 online feels more like an afterthought, there's no option as to who you play against, no voice chat, not even text chat. Offline multiplayer rocks though, I always thought that was the case for any game, as the experience is just... better.
Annoyingly, there's no way (yet) in the UK to buy a second guitar for PS3 GH3, which be what I have.

You can talk to friends through voice and text chat on any game .

You can also give players rep on XBox Live (I know, what were they thinking!?), If you give negative feedback, you have less chance of facing that opponent again, and if you give positive feedback, you have more chance of facing that opponent again .

Again, this applies for any game, since it's an XBox Live feature.

Offline multiplayer rocks though, I always thought that was the case for any game, as the experience is just... better.

I'd totally give you a game online game, but from it sounds like, you have the game on PS3 .

OMG i just got there yesterday, i finally beat Before I Forget on Expert, after like 30 tries XD

Now that like minute and a half solo i always loose at in Cult of Personality, i got to end of solo once, but lost, i could even see the gap in between solo and regular part lol

GH3 is fun but I got way more addicted to GH2 honestly.

The songs are godlike in the 2nd episode.

Darkchaoself, yeah there are hacks for certain versions now I believe. I've been playing with people and had the same problem ( Stealing Powerups when I don't even have any, avoding Whammy bar attacks ), it's lame.

I was, until the PS3 was around, the 360 and Wii just have better games, any good games for the PS3 have gone multi-platform (Final Fantasy 13 will probably be the only thing tempting me into getting a PS3, which still wouldn't be worth it).
