Why laugh or facepalm?
It seems pretty legit and it's obviously either work in progress or a well-made hoax. However, if this is legit, it will push back the release of the expansion, as Blizzard will have to redo the story and the video if they don't want the ending to be known by a lot of people, before the game was even finished.

The voices... they are the same, just with crappy quality... also, if you sometimes have a grafical bug of SCII and the models become simplified, this is pretty much how they look like. (happens to me sometimes)

so... it might actually be the real deal...

I simply believe there will never be a 'World of Starcraft' or any other MMO with Starcraft. Blizzard has established themselves in three genres, and (I think) will keep them that way.

Anyways, I vote this is just in progress.

Thats why they do all kind of cataclysm thingies and change the world and stuff. Exploring new thingies is an important thing in this kind of rgp games.


WoW has been a huge succes. Being able to start again from the scratch, improve stuff that worked, bring in new cool ideas, create even bigger worlds and cool new thingies. Its too good to be left undone.

Looking at it, its on the right "Cheese" level for Blizzard. The voices match, except Arcturus - his is different i think.
This is either the real deal, or an incredibly well made fake.

Watching it again, im thinking this is real.
Why? Arcturus's voice sounds exactly like Chris Metzen.

If its a fake: Damn good impersonator.

Also, how on earth does the detonator break upon impact on the floor, as in bent out of place.

Pretty much why i watched it. Wings of Liberty just crashed the story, and i needed to see if blizzard redeemed themselves.

It's not the old Blizzard that made SC1 anyway. It's a whole new group of different people. Although Metzen and Samwise and maybe a few other guys higher up are still in.

So in a way it's not quite Blizzard who made this game.

Interesting to say the least. So much about it just seems very.... Blizzard. Not much revealing in the story, most of that you kind of knew was gonna happen. I'll still get the game to see what happens and where it goes though.
