help downloading streaming video

I work on a Mac G-5 (OsX.,4.1(tiger), but I've having trouble downloading or even getting to anything with the latest Windows. When I click to view or download I get a message telling me "Cannot open the file. Verify the path and filename are correct and try again." When I try again, I get a box asking me to verify my name and password, which I do. This time the "connecting" comes up on the screen but there is no buffering and nothing ever appears. If I wait quite a while, a message appears that says "The file name, directory name, or volulme label syntax is incorrect." I have no idea what any of this means, ignorant as I am of all this. Can anyone help me?

    I'd rather personally just own a backup of the Nuon data than see it go to AtariAge honestly. If it gets enshittified as per usual, or if some of the "regular" Jaguar folks get there, it's not gonna be fun
