I have 64 mb of ram. If i were to get 250mb would my Diablo 2 expanison run smoother then it is running now?

if you are using something like a 166mhz...then don't bother (at least not just for Diablo 2)

Yes... with 64 mb of ram you are using a lot of your virtual memory (hard drive) which can cause lots of slowdowns and excessive hard drive access... more ram wil allow you to lessen the ammount of virtual memory you use .. prolonging the life of your hard drive, increasing performance of your system and increaseing the performance of D2

depends on what windows your running anything over 256 on windows me will actually slow some things down it says it uses it but ive done some things and did checking and what i found out is that windows 95 and windows me actually works for diablo @ lod but when not on diablo slows things down so you can decided what you want to do hope this helps

Im new to system specs but here it goes

Pentium 2 4oo mhz
Voodoo4 4500agp
6.14gb
64mb
Intel(R)pro/100

dunno if thats right but i was told that more memory = less choppiness and less lag

upgrading to 128MB is a good idea but don't expect lightning performance... you will see a difference in most programs though

my system is similar and it is slower with 64mb (I have 128mb now)

you might want to go for 256 anyway 'cause its dirt cheap now

more RAM will bring you more power and speed, that´s for sure, but please post your other system specs too (MHZ, Graphics etc.)
