the rts game only have 1 race, the typical warcraft human race...
but in game the player can customize the race
the inspiration and gameplay is like Stronghold/Crusader, build and defend the base
with villagers, kids, peasants..
but i cant find a good title or background story of why the humans fight each other
What about... something like 'Village Race', its unspecific so you don't need to worry about a backstory and, you can have the focus more on the game itself.
Or.... Something like an argument of law, or religious beliefs is good for human warfare. But remember to be creative... So for example, "a book has been found with magic powers that sway people to believe that all who are against them are enemies, and must die!" Something like this can help the creative ball rolling.
As a suggestive note: Never leave the name creation process to the end. The name or title is an inspiration to my maps before I've even began.
the point is, the race is just the same warcraft settings of the human race
that means the human race still has units like mountain king, rifleman, spell breaker, gryphon rider etc
the gameplay difference from melee game and my RTS map is
- only 1 race
- there are some modification of the units
- can choose only 1 hero to lead the army
- chosen leaders have their own specialty that will further improve the units.
(for eg, Paladin will have better Priests)
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
