Help Plz!!!

at the moment im making a map with my friend.
and i would like the map to be kind of similar to pyramid escape,(im not trying to copy it),
and i would like to know how they do it for every challenge, and then it goes to a different screen and so on.
plz help me

I dont get what you are trying to say,
is it like in Pyramid escape, how only the mini game appears and the rest goes away?

i think he means that the minimap zooms in to only the minigame when its bieng played. or he might mean that when a chalenge is completed, all players revive and start next minigame.

if so then...

E=events
C=conditions
A=actions

E: Unit-unit enters *win minigame*
C: None
A: Hero-add experience points by *X* to (triggering unit) (optional)
A: Wait *0.5* seconds (optional)
A: Unit-Kill *player 1's unit* (do that to all the players' units)
A: Hero-Revive *player 1's unit* (instantly at *minigame X begin*) (do that to all the players' units)

as for the minimap thing. i dont know but it might be with camera bounds. you can do it so there's and overview of the minigame and the camera is locked. it might alsobe something with campaign editor.

im doing this off the top of my head, so it won't be exact phrasing.

Why don't you get an unprotected version of pyramid escape? Almost all of the versions are, I think up to version 1.18 (which is very good and has all the stuff you need). I looked into it myself, considering how cool a game it was

The creator created seperate regions over all of the minigame areas, and then locked the player cameras to those regions, in essence.

I checked their initial minigame voting algorithim, and it is very complicated - I would recommond you study it for now, and try and simplify it, perhaps.

Some of their minigame triggers are quite simple (the red light, green light one for instance), but most are either hideously long (the quiz of doom one is like 3 pages -_- Full of randomization, script comments, and custom variable setting) or really complex (the mummy's tomb or whatever one uses an intruiging system of points to make the mummies randomly move and attack bug-free)

(Oh, and I just remembered, PLEASE READ THE FORUM RULES! Post better and more descriptive topic titles so people can help you --- this is 'thehelper' after all, so we generally assume that the majority of our users want 'help' Again, just a little tip )

So my advice is to first get a copy of the map and study it You will probably have some problems with the more complex triggers, though, so you can ask about those here, but I highly recommend you take a detailed look at the map, first, and maybe add a few actions here and there, remove some others here, and maybe just change a few, and see the effect it has. This is probably one of the best ways to learn

yeah, well,i have a slight problem at my house. there are three computers. right now we are in th process of instaling the router settings. but the tech support bastards don't wanna do thier job. so only one of the computers has the internet, but it doesnt have world editor on it. i would check but writing the trigger down a

so, ill be doing that in a while, but for now, i won't write one triggerdown on a post-it note and then copy it from the note to the other cpu.
